and warranty policy
Ordering a guitar or ukulele is easy and a fun process, there are lots of details to think about, design and build features that when applied to your custom guitar make it truly unique .
So I like to begin with personal preferences from my customers in:
playing style
skill level
favorite instruments you've played
woods
appointments
nut width
scale length
neck profile
body depth
and anything else you might think of in your perfect guitar.
Once you've had a chance to get a feel for what you would like to have in a custom instrument send me an email listing the above details, I'll return an email with a price and build time quote outlining any additionally needed information or specications with regards to your build.
Should you decide to have me build your custom guitar,
I require a non-refundable deposit of $500 in cashiers check or money order. This deposit is used to secure your build spot and order materials. Depending on the amount of detail or cost of materials additional money may be requested during build time.
I will send a mutual agreement form for you to fill out and send back explaining policies, warranties, treatment and process.
Any changes or alterations after material purchase/order are subject to additional charges.
After your instrument is completed, balance in full is due by same method of payment or through PayPal - plus PayPal fees
before instrument is shipped. Shipping is via UPS 2nd Day Air,
Shipping/insurance charges will be included in balance due.
Once you've received your guitar, you will have two calender days to decide if this guitar is right for you. Should you decide not to keep it, Contact me by phone within the 2 day trial period to arrange return of instrument. Return shipping /insurance will be the responsibility of the customer. Guitar must be returned in original packaging and condition. After reciept and inspection, refund of purchase price less deposit will be sent back.
If your instrument requires new jigs/molds for construction no refunds of purchase price will be offered as this is a special and unique to the customer item, I can attempt to re-sell it for you and refund less any expenses incurred to me.
Should any defects be found to be the fault of my craftsmanship and/or materials at any time during original ownership simply return the instrument to me for inspection and diagnosis. If the fault is mine repairs will be made at no cost to you. If the instrument is beyond repair, and under normal use a new replacement copy of the original will be made and shipped back. In either case repairs and/or replacement will be at my discretion and only after inspection.
Work by any other repair shop , luthier or owner voids all warranties
